Tire & Wheel Road Hazard Coverage with Cosmetic Wheel Repair/Replacement
Our coverage protects your vehicle’s original or new tires and wheels from damage caused by everyday road hazards like potholes, nails, glass, debris, and more—as long as the tire has more than 2/32” of tread remaining.
What's Covered:
1. Road Hazard Damage
Covers repair or replacement of tires and wheels damaged by road hazards encountered during normal driving on public roads.
2. Flat Tire Repair
If a tire can be safely repaired, we'll cover up to $60 per tire, per incident. You can have it repaired at any facility—no pre-approval needed. You're responsible for any charges over $60.
3. Tire Replacement
If a tire can't be repaired, we’ll replace it with the same make/model (or a comparable tire if unavailable). Coverage only applies if the tire has more than 2/32” of tread left. For all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles, a second tire on the same axle may be replaced if needed to match tread depth.
4. Wheel (Rim) Replacement
If your wheel is damaged and can’t hold air or be balanced properly, it will be replaced. Coverage applies only for wheels on which a covered tire was mounted.
5. Mounting, Balancing & Taxes
Covers up to $75 for mounting, balancing, valve stems, and disposal when a covered tire or wheel is replaced. Taxes are also included.
6. Cosmetic Wheel Repair/Replacement
Unlimited repairs for minor curb damage like scuffs, scratches, or rash on your original wheels or hubcaps. If a repair isn’t possible, we’ll replace with a wheel or hubcap of similar kind and quality.
